**About the role**

The Design Council are looking for an Operations Coordinator to support the daily operation of our organisation. To be successful as an Operations Coordinator you should be able to oversee and ensure smooth and efficient daily operations. Ultimately a top-notch operation coordinator to be highly organised and thrive under pressure.

You will be detail orientated with great administrative skills in a range of platforms and understand the importance of Design and how it impacts our Planet.
- Providing smooth running of our office environment & daily functioning of the office
- Managing the relationship with our office & registered office providers
- Collecting, distributing, and responding to post
- Assisting the Finance Manager with their transactions and credit control
- Supporting the HR Manager with recruitment, induction and learning & development
- Providing administrative support to the Operations Team as needed, answering calls,forwarding messages,updating & maintaining our systems and organising meetings or events.
- Responding to the Operational Teams needs at peak times.
- Supporting and providing cover (when on leave etc.) for the other Coordinators as needed.
- Undertake any other reasonable duties as required.

**About you**

**Expert Knowledge and Qualifications**
- Graduate or equivalent worked experience in the business administration or related field
- Experience in managing and maintaining an office environment
- Strong organisational, interpersonal and administrative skills
- Proficiency in a range of platforms (Dynamics, SharePoint, Microsoft Office packages)
- Detail orientated with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to multitask
- Ability to work in an agile environment, to be proactive and fast-paced while always ensuring results are achieved
- Excellent customer service skills.
