Job Description

As Shift Leader, you will play a key role in maintaining ISS Integrated Solutions' leading edge status within the industry and further enhancing our reputation with the customer.

Health and safety adherence is paramount in your role, and you will ensure strict compliance at all times. Being responsive, cooperative, and consistently meeting the tasks set forth are essential aspects of your responsibilities.

You will be an integral part of a cohesive working team dedicated to providing a high level of service to our client. By fostering teamwork, professionalism, and dedication to excellence, you will contribute to the overall success and reputation of ISS Integrated Solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out PPM in accordance with set schedules, ensuring engineering standards are maintained in order to maximise the operational effectiveness and reliability of the Plant and associated electrical systems
  • Adhere to set engineering standards in accordance with Health and Safety at Work Act (HASAWA) requirements
  • Ensure onsite Quality Assurance procedures are adhered to in all respects and to maintain accurate records/documentation associated with the electrical aspects of the PPM and plant
  • Respond in a prompt and effective manner to all electrically related reactive maintenance issues, and help desk requests
  • Carry out technical surveys of the above services and systems, reporting findings to the Critical Engineering Manager
  • Produce list costs of material required for any minor works required
  • Coordinate initial actions associated with all requests from the client
  • Deal with customer enquiries and complaints, reporting actions taken to line management
  • Undertake follow up actions required to resolve situational circumstances for which you have been authorised to undertake

Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications

  • Experience in a similar critical environment
  • Previous HVAP or LVAP is essential
  • Conversant with a wide range of building service systems and equipment
  • Sound Electrical and Mechanical knowledge
  • Be conversant with current Health and Safety legislation with relevance to safe working practices
  • City & Guilds Parts 1 and 2 (Electrical Installation 2360) or recognised equivalent
  • 18th Edition
  • Electrical Apprenticeship – gained within the building maintenance industry
  • Experience with similar maintenance duties including fault diagnosis, rectification
  • Experience in the Electrical aspects of general building PPM schedules
  • Experienced in electrical installation work, plus electrical testing and inspection
