We are a leading manufacturer in the area, committed to delivering high-quality products and services. We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team on a night shift basis.

Job Summary

We are looking for a Maintenance Engineer with an Electrical Bias to work on our night shift. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes. Your primary focus will be on diagnosing and resolving faults on Mechanical and Electrical equipment, as well as maintaining a safe and efficient working environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure effective handover of information across shifts to maintain continuity and efficiency.
  • Utilize our Predictive Maintenance System (PMS) to support prioritization and problem-solving, including Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA).
  • Diagnose and repair faults on Mechanical and Electrical equipment, including testing and maintenance.
  • Observe, recognize, and report on machinery or component defects or symptoms of impending failure.
  • Collaborate with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and suppliers for technical support.

Requirements

We require an Electrical Bias Engineer with experience in 17th/18th edition, PLC exposure/understanding, fault finding, and rewiring. Additionally, mechanical reactive and preventative breakdown, pneumatic, and hydraulic experience is necessary. A good understanding of Food Hygiene and experience working according to these guidelines is also essential. Experience in the FMCG manufacturing industry is a must for this role.
