Job Summary:

Mansell Recruitment Group is seeking a skilled Field Services Engineer to join our team. As an Equipment Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance services to our clients across the M1 corridor.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Ensure timely and efficient on-site visits to resolve equipment issues
  • Develop and maintain a flexible schedule to accommodate long-distance travel and overnight stays as required
  • Conduct regular preventative maintenance (PM) on individual areas to ensure optimal equipment performance
  • Collaborate with colleagues to clear PMs on vacant areas, aiming to achieve a company-wide quarterly zero PM position
  • Meet and exceed company-set breakdown SLA targets
  • Diagnose and repair equipment faults in a timely, cost-effective manner
  • Achieve and maintain a minimum 75% first-time fix rate
  • Respond to urgent requests for assistance outside of regular working hours as required

Requirements:

  • Strong electrical and mechanical knowledge, with a solid understanding of electronics
  • Excellent fault diagnosis skills and a structured approach to problem-solving
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commercial awareness and ability to contribute to sales targets
  • Ability to generate leads and develop business opportunities
  • Organized and structured approach to work
  • Proficient in using computer systems and software

Benefits:

  • Competitive salary range: £30,000-£34,000
  • OTE: £32,000-£36,000 + company-provided vehicle, phone, and laptop
