We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Commercial Finance to join our team at JSS Search. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for providing financial leadership and strategic guidance to our Commercial Trading, Digital, and Marketing sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive financial strategy for our trading, digital initiatives, and marketing efforts, ensuring robust financial reporting and actionable insights.
• Target Achievement: Drive accountability for achieving targets related to sales, margins, and marketing investments through precise financial leadership.
• Team Leadership: Lead a team of 6 business partners across a fast-paced, multisite retail and ecommerce environment.
• Financial Planning: Lead financial planning processes, including three-year plans, annual budgets, and forecasts, while identifying key variances to optimize business outcomes.
• Financial Modelling: Champion financial modelling for new products and customer engagement initiatives, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
• Marketing Effectiveness: Develop and oversee a Marketing Effectiveness framework to maximize ROI.
• Financial Innovation: Innovate and enhance financial practices within the digital sphere to support critical business decisions.
• Cost Management: Act as a key financial leader on strategic cost management and efficiency projects.

Your Background:

• Qualifications: Must be a qualified CIMA, ACCA, or ACA accountant with substantial years PQE in industry.
• Experience: Demonstrable experience in commercial finance within a retail/FMCG or multisite business setting.
• Skills: Proven ability to thrive in an agile working environment while managing competing priorities.
• Collaboration: Well-versed in the concept of Business Partnering, with a strong track record of collaborating across diverse business units.
• Leadership: Capable of leading and facilitating team transformations.
• Team Management: Experienced in managing and leading teams effectively.
