This role will help the Sky TV team that owns the proposition and marketing of Sky Stream, Sky Glass, Sky's Entertainment TV packages and emerging product areas to understand the consumer through quantitative, qualitative and tracking research projects to make sure we are maximizing sales, keeping existing customers happy and driving innovation. This role is a fantastic opportunity to play a role in informing the evolution of Sky's consumer offering.
What you'll do:
  • Work closely with Sky's TV Propositions & Commercial team (responsible for Sky Stream, Sky Glass, Sky's Entertainment TV packages and emerging product areas) to inform their decision making.
  • Brief & manage consumer-focussed market research projects using a variety of methodologies, as well as leveraging Sky's internal data sources and market intelligence, to ensure Sky's product and proposition evolution are insight driven.
  • Represent the objective voice of the consumer, not only in debriefs & outputs, but in your role as an advisor to the TV team.
  • Create outputs appropriate for a senior audience which land relevant insights clearly and include actionable recommendations.
  • Play an active role in cultivating an inclusive and diverse culture that is passionate, motivated by business impact and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
What you'll bring:
  • Market research subject matter expertise across commercial, propositions, product and consumer insights with the ability to apply a variety of qualitative and quantitative techniques to answer business questions or test new ideas.
  • Demonstrated experience either agency or client side and a hunger to take the next step in your research/insight career.
  • A strong understanding of Media, Content or Consumer Technology markets.
  • An independent and energetic approach to the role, a clear passion for insight and market research with experience working in fast-paced environments.
  • A consistent track record of managing multiple priorities, including evidence of strong stakeholder management and ability to collaborate.
  • A confident communicator and presenter, having done so up to a Head of Department level.
