Ticketing Manager

The Ticketing Manager will deliver a customer-focused ticketing function in support of the ticketing strategy at Alexandra Palace.Experience playing a lead role in the ticketing function in an arts, music or leisure environment is essential along with box office experience and strong numeracy skills.

This is a full time, permanent role.
The salary is circa £35,000pa depending on experience
Key duties include:
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to manage live ticketing inventory on events sold through the in-house system (Spektrix), and through ticketing partner (Dice)
- Manage the set-up and build of events on the in-house ticketing system and partner dashboard ensuring on-sales, allocations, pricings and holds are accurately captured
- Develop relationships with ticket agents, producers and other agencies overseeing their ticket sales providing data insights and accurate reporting
- Review the customer journey for ticketed events recommending improvements
- Manage event settlements, ticket agency reconciliations and invoicing
- Train front of house staff in ticketing processes and procedures.
Person specification
Essential:
- eligible to work in the UK
- Experience playing a lead role in the delivery of a ticketing function in an arts, music or leisure environment
- Experience analysing customer date to identify trends
- Understanding of the customer journey and awareness of channels in relation to ticket sales
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to give clear instruction
- Strong Excel and numeracy skills
- Well organised with ability to prioritise
Desirable:
- Experience using a ticketing system to set up events
- Experience working with financial data
- Experience using website CMS (WordPress)
- Experience using an email marketing platform (Dotdigital)
