Your Role:


As Associate you will lead a diverse portfolio of projects, from contaminated land investigations to large-scale infrastructure and development assessments. Your responsibilities will include:


  • Managing geotechnical and geo-environmental projects from inception to completion, ensuring delivery within timeframes, budgets, and client expectations.
  • Supporting and mentoring junior engineers and consultants, fostering an environment of learning and growth.
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships, acting as a key point of contact, and ensuring a high standard of service delivery.
  • Providing technical oversight, preparing reports, and delivering expert advice on site investigations, risk assessments, and remediation strategies.
  • Identifying new business opportunities and contributing to the growth and success of Lucion’s operations in Bristol and beyond.


What We’re Looking For:


  • A strong track record in geotechnical or geo-environmental consultancy, with at least 7+ years of relevant experience.
  • A degree in Geology, Environmental Science, Civil Engineering, or a related field. Chartership (e.g., CGeol, CEng, or similar) is highly desirable but not essential
  • Demonstrable experience in leading teams and managing projects.
  • Proven expertise in site investigations, ground engineering, contaminated land assessments, and remediation.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients and stakeholders.
  • A keen interest in business development and a drive to help grow Lucion’s presence in the region.
