We are offering the chance for an experienced and motivated Head Chef to take the reins and head up the team at one of Cambridgeshires top destinations for Fresh Food, specially selected Craft ales, and artisan beverages.
Our appeal to the local community and the surrounding areas is huge and our reputation for great food and beautiful surrounding puts us a head of our competitors.
Our property is stunning, and the kitchen is modern and well equipped. The appeal of the food is vital to our success and our incoming Head Chef must enhance this appeal and our reputation all at once.
As such, we are offering a fantastic basic salary and service charge commissions to motivate our Head Chef in the pursuit of excellence.
The Duties of our Head Chef include
- Full kitchen management in terms of compliance and record keeping in-line with the EHOs guidance.
- Managing all stock, appropriate storage and wastage to attain GP targets.
- Keeping a calm and professional appearance throughout all services.
- Training, mentoring and appraising your kitchen team, including each chef and the kitchen assistants.
- Developing dishes and tweaking our/your menu to maximise GPs
- Cooking outstanding British and World dishes with joy and expertise.
As the Head Chef, you will have full control over the kitchen operations and be able to judge the trends of our clientele to ensure their satisfaction and repeat custom.
