We are seeking a skilled and experienced Chef de Partie to join our team at a prestigious University kitchen in Cambridge. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a wide range of dishes, from scratch, to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, including soups, salads, and main courses.
- Work closely with the Head Chef and Sous Chef to ensure that daily prep is completed on time and to the correct standards.
- Liaise with suppliers to ensure that fresh ingredients are sourced and delivered to the kitchen.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Previous experience as a Chef de Partie in a similar environment.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation and cooking techniques.
- Ability to work well under pressure and as part of a team.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Salary of £27,400 per annum.
- 37.5 hours per week.
- Uniforms provided.
