In the heart of Barnet, an "Outstanding" Primary School is on the hunt for a Psychology Graduate Pastoral Assistant for a September 2024 start. This is a full-time and long-term post.

Previous Psychology graduates who have been successful in this role have gone on to pursue careers in, Educational Psychology, Clinical Psychology, Child Therapy and much more

If you are a compassionate individual who has a passion for supporting children not only in their academics but their social and emotional well-being, then this role is for you Successful candidates within this Primary Teaching Assistant role are able to find the balance between relationship building, tailoring their approach to educational support as well as being proactive in regard to supporting children with SEND.

  • Pastoral Assistant - Social Science Graduates
  • Full-time, long-term role starting September 2024
  • £105 - £110 per day
  • Perfect opportunity for a Psychology Graduate pursuing a career in teaching and/or gaining experience for Clinical/Educational Psychology Courses.
  • Supporting students with ASD, ADHD, SEMH, Downs Syndrome and other various Complex Needs
  • Opportunity to work closely with an Educational Psychologist and Speech and Language Therapist
  • Training and CPD available for all staff
