We're looking for a Technical Manager to join our Hard Services team based at Neath Port Talbot Hospital.

 

Location: Neath Port Talbot Hospital. On Site.

Contract: Full Time, Permanent.

 

What will you be responsible for?

As a Technical Manager, you'll be working within the Hard Services FM team, supporting them in delivery of the contract across the hospital site.

Your day to day will include:

  • Technical lead for the contract
  • Responsible for the management of the hard services team, undertaking performance monitoring to ensure compliance with statutory, contractual, and corporate requirements.
  • Management responsibility all maintenance activities/tasks, ensuring all are completed on time, with supporting documentation available and any remedial works identified, instructed, recorded, and completed.
  • Liaise with and support the Project Manager in all technical matters relating to capital works and identification of future asset replacement.
  • Provide a monthly reporting to the Contract Manager for insertion into the Monthly Report.
  • Development of staff and the associated training; ensure all staff are undertaking their duties in line with contractual requirements, Kier procedures and their job description.
  • Coordinating AP across relevant disciplines

What are we looking for?

This role of Technical Manager is great for you if:

  • M&E background and experience in facilities management is essential.
  • Experience of working in a Healthcare Environment is desirable.
  • Experience in managing a maintenance team.
  • Qualified to ONC or equivalent in engineering or proven experience and ideally HNC.
