At Jigcar, we’re on a mission to unlock the profit-driving power of logistics optimisation for automotive businesses around the world, with an initial focus on large franchise dealer groups, used car supermarkets, and automotive logistics providers.
Founded by a team of former Cazoo tech employees and automotive industry experts (e.g. ex-COO of one of the UK’s largest dealer groups), we’re driving hard at a huge global opportunity, solving incredibly complex but fulfilling problems along the way.
Having only launched this January 2024, we’re fortunate enough to have some of the largest retailers in the UK automotive market - like Perrys, Glyn Hopkin and Steven Eagell - as our first customers.
We’re already making waves in the UK market, and while there’s still a lot to do at home, we’re also preparing to expand our product offering globally.
Both our founding team and early investors comprise of UK automotive experts, each bringing a unique wealth of experience and a network for growth. For example, our Commercial Director - Jon Pollock - previously held roles as Global Head of Sales for both McLaren and Aston Martin, after 20 years at Toyota and Nissan respectively.
This expertise is pivotal to our growth, so now we’re looking for similar experts in each of our target foreign markets.
Who are we looking for?
Experience & skillset:
We are looking for automotive retail experts - in each of our target markets - who:
- Have a deep understanding of their specific market’s dynamics, trends, and ways of operating
- Have a proven network within their specific market, particularly with group-level executives at large franchise dealer groups and used car supermarkets
- Are keen to get stuck in with Jigcar’s leadership team to create a rigorous go-to-market strategy in their specific market
- Are excited by the opportunity to build Jigcar from the ground up in a new market, which includes making and facilitating commercial introductions

The interview process will be a number of informal conversations with our founding team and strategic advisors. We move quickly and trust our gut instincts
Compensation
- Daily contract rate or monthly retainer (fees TBC with candidate)
- Commission on new revenue gained via advisor intros
- Potential for equity and a more permanent role once working relationship and market presence are established
