About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our team at Lookers VW Newcastle. As a key member of our Service team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the highest standards of vehicle maintenance and repair.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carrying out vehicle health checks using the latest technology
  • Conducting vehicle services in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and customer requests
  • Carrying out additional repairs once authorized by the customer
  • Warranty repairs per the manufacturer's guidelines and relevant write-up complete
  • Taking customers' vehicles out on a road test to ensure all faults are rectified
  • Completing all relevant paperwork to a high standard

Requirements

  • Prior experience working within a workshop
  • Self-motivated, ambitious, and eager to learn
  • Ability to work to the highest standards
  • Full UK driving license
  • Completion of NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification
  • MOT license a bonus
