We are looking for an experienced Payroll Accountant for a growing Property business based in Hertfordshire. The ideal candidate will have experience with high volume payroll processing (weekly and monthly) and the ability to manage discrepancies in a timely, professional manner. We are looking for a candidate with a collaborative work approach, the ability to manage a busy work load adhering to deadlines. This role is offered on a permanent basis, offering hybrid working with the expectation of 1-2 days in the office every week. Key responsibilities: 
  • Assist in preparing the weekly and monthly payroll 
  • Responsible for managing discrepancies and queries in a timely manner 
  • Assist team in data manipulation and data upload of payroll input data received from various areas of the business
  • Calculating holiday pay and maintaining an excel spreadsheet 
  • Maintain an Excel spreadsheet and calculate sick pay for employees.
Key skills: 
  • Ideally 2 years+ experience working within a Payroll function 
  • Experience dealing with company benefits would be highly desirable 
  • Ability to manipulate large amounts of data 
  • IT savvy with a solid understanding of Excel including V look ups 
  • Excellent communication skills with a collaborative work approach 
  • Confident managing queries both on the phone and via email 
  • Team player and willing to get stuck in
