Payroll Administrator | Accountancy Action

You'll be working for a reputable professional services firm that are market leaders due to their extensive professional knowledge and experience as well as their state-of-the-art technology.

You'll be working as a Payroll Administrator and will be responsible for supporting a number of payrolls both internal and external. Your duties will include;

  • To ensure your own dedicated payrolls are completed, from import of client data through to BACS payments, ensure compliance with Tax/NIC other legislation.
  • Application of Statutory forms and Tax documents
  • Payroll Reconciliation
  • To create invoices and deal with any invoice related queries
  • Handling telephone and email payroll queries
  • Administration - expense processing, expense checking, portal guidance, ID checks, Contract of Employment checks

This role would suit those with previous payroll experience and are looking to work for an excellent company. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a dynamic team and contribute to the growth and success of the firm.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the preparation and processing of payrolls
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and regulations
  • Provide excellent customer service to clients and colleagues
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of payroll processes and procedures

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in payroll administration
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of payroll legislation and regulations
