About the Role:
We are pleased to be recruiting on behalf of a prominent client in the industrial sector for a Channel Sales Manager. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to support and execute the EMEA Distribution strategy and drive growth with our client's channel partners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with distributors to understand their business needs and jointly develop business plans that align with our client's strategy.
- Ensure distribution channel incentives are effectively scaled to reward profitable growth, with monthly measurement of results.
- Lead quarterly review meetings with distributor/channel partners to strengthen relationships, review activities, update plans, and assess financial performance.
- Provide monthly reports and measurements of key end-user accounts to the internal team.
- Maintain and enhance the relationship between channel partners and the commercial office to improve customer experience.
- Define and manage expectations for distributors to deliver our client's value proposition to key end-users.
- Support channel marketing activities and campaigns to boost brand and product awareness.
- Ensure distributor partners' websites support our client’s offerings, including online shopping, preferred product fulfilment, and up-to-date content.
- Design and implement a training program to enhance product and value proposition expertise within external sales teams.
- Undertake additional duties and tasks as assigned.
Candidate Requirements:
- BS degree in business, marketing, or a relevant field.
- 2-5 years of experience in sales and/or marketing.
- Understanding of sales strategy and marketing fundamentals.
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Experience with Salesforce is preferred.
- Experience in distribution, sales, or marketing of technical products in a B2B market is preferred.
- Ability to analyse data to make informed decisions and secure buy-in for those decisions.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex data clearly.
- Excellent written and verbal English skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
