We are seeking a skilled and motivated person to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial for driving our growth in the commercial sector. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with glass-focused projects and a deep understanding of the glazing industry.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Estimation: Accurately estimate project costs from initial design through to completion
  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the commercial market
  • Tender Management: Manage the tendering process, ensuring timely and competitive submissions
  • Sub-Contractor Management: Oversee and manage sub-contractors to ensure project deadlines and budgets are met
  • Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs and expectations are met throughout the project lifecycle
  • Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure all projects adhere to relevant health and safety regulations
  • Quality Control: Maintain high quality standards across all projects
  • Reporting: Provide regular progress reports to senior management


Desirable Attributes:

  • Proven ability to achieve project deadlines and manage budgets effectively
  • Strong knowledge and experience in tender management and submission
  • Excellent sub-contractor management skills
  • Prior experience with glazing projects, particularly in the commercial sector
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
  • Proactive and self-motivated with a strong business acumen


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the glazing industry or similar role
  • Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CSCS card) are advantageous
