About the opportunity;
An excellent opportunity has arisen to join a growing business in Yorkshire to be part of an experienced and supportive HR team. Partnering closely with the leadership team for central functions, this role will develop capability, drive the engagement agenda and manage talent. The People Partner will have the opportunity to have a direct impact on the business growth strategy and support the change agenda.
This role is based in North Yorkshire and supports colleagues across sites in the UK and a small number of colleagues in Europe.
Key elements of the role include;
- leading the people agenda across all group functions.
- partnering with the leadership teams to ensure succession plans are in place.
- leading the comms strategy across central functions.
- provide coaching and direction for line managers, giving clear direction on building capability and ensuring accountability across all levels.
- lead recruitment strategies to enable short and long term business priorities.
- providing leadership to the wider people team, driving high levels of engagement and performance.
Based in North Yorkshire, this role will travel to other UK sites with some international travel. Hybrid working is available (2 days on site with travel to other sites)
The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate;
- Highly experienced HR generalist who has worked at HRBP level in a multi site, commercial organisation.
- Focused on added value initiatives and leading change, knows what good looks like.
- Self-sufficient and able to work autonomously, linking into the Group People team on a regular basis.
- Experience of working within a larger organisation, understands how to drive consistency across multiple sites.
