Your new companyAre you looking for a rewarding career in the insurance industry? Do you have a keen eye for detail and a passion for accounting If so, you might be the perfect candidate for the Junior Accounts Receivable position we are recruiting for based in Cheltenham, paying up to £23k.

You will work Monday to Friday between 9am and 5pm, this will be fully onsite during probation, with flexible working afterwards, allowing 3 days onsite and 2 remote days.

Your new roleAs a Junior Accounts Receivable Assistant you will have varied responsibilities, for example

  • To get involved in credit control by monitoring and chasing debt via phone and email
  • To build relationships with other businesses
  • You will allocate settlements and cash receipts
  • Also, you will allocate payments against ledger transactions as required
  • To review monthly accounts and take action as required

What you'll need to succeed

  • Attention to detail
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel
  • Previous experience with MS Excel or accounting packages
  • Previous experience in an admin or finance related role will be ideal
  • A desire to pursue a career with Accountancy and Finance
