Based in Andoversford, Astor-Bannerman manufactures, supplies, installs and services specialist bathing and lifting systems for the disabled and elderly. We have a 25-year track record as a market leader in our field and we have an ambition to grow.

**Main functions and responsibilities**
- Review and action Purchase Requisitions raised
- Review daily the ProdSched dashboard to action new demand
- React to any changes in demand for materials
- Obtain quotes for new products and periodic price reviews for existing product lines
- Negotiate best pricing
- Place Purchase Orders in line with material requirements as outlined in Shortage Reports
- Ensure products are delivered on time to fulfil Production obligations
- Monitor EDC requirements inline with supply v demand
- Update Production and Sales with any delays/shortages
- Maintain adequate call-off orders for significant parts inline with requirements
- Monitor stock levels and ensure adequate supply to meet demand
- Raise Goods Returns for replacement parts/credit as applicable
- Ensure the system is maintained with accurate delivery information for all supply orders
- Maintain Supplier Evaluation records in accordance with Quality requirements
- Assist in stock take and inventory cycle counts as required
- Provide holiday/sickness/furlough cover for Supply Chain when necessary
- Assist R&D with sourcing new suppliers for new products
- Review spend and establish cost savings in line with targets set by management
- Carry out other duties as operational requirements dictate to assist with the day to day running of the business

**The Person**
- Must be computer literate
- Good telephone manner
- Able to work to tight deadlines
- Ability to multi task
- Experience in SAP/SAP Business One an advantage but training will be provided
- Attention to detail
- Good communication both internally and externally at all levels
- CIPS qualified or working towards
- Well organised

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £24,000.00-£26,000.00 per year
