Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly skilled Software Support Analyst with strong SQL capabilities and an analytical mindset to provide front-line support for our client's in-house software and desktop applications. The ideal candidate will have experience in a software support setting, familiarity with Azure, and the ability to automate tasks using Python. Clear communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving are essential.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide front-line software support to users of in-house software and desktop applications.
  • Triage and troubleshoot relevant support tickets, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Escalate tickets to the next line of support when necessary.
  • Automate routine tasks using Python scripting.
  • Maintain clear and effective communication with users, ensuring they are kept informed of progress and solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex issues and improve overall support processes.
  • Continuously develop knowledge of the software and stay updated on industry best practices.


Qualifications:


Required:

  • Strong analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in SQL for data querying and troubleshooting.
  • Previous experience working in a software support setting.
  • Experience with Azure cloud services.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the confidence to handle support calls and interact with users directly.


Preferred:

  • Python scripting experience for task automation.
  • Experience in the energy sector or a related industry.
