The Role: Holmes Noble is seeking an accomplished Head of Key Accounts on behalf of our client. This role is crucial in managing and expanding key client relationships, ensuring the client’s offerings meet the evolving needs of their partners. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving superior customer satisfaction, identifying growth opportunities, and ensuring the client meets its revenue targets.


Location: This is a flexible role with the expectation of significant travel, including regular visits to sites in Northern Ireland.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Account Management: Develop and execute comprehensive account management strategies aimed at achieving revenue and growth targets, with a focus on both existing and new business opportunities.
  • Client Relationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for key accounts, building and maintaining strong, long-term relationships while proactively identifying opportunities to add value and expand services.
  • Revenue Growth: Identify and pursue opportunities to upsell and cross-sell additional products and services to key accounts, developing account plans to drive growth and profitability.
  • Collaboration and Coordination: Work closely with other departments including commercial, procurement, marketing, and manufacturing to ensure a cohesive approach to account management.
  • Contract Negotiation and Management: Collaborate with the commercial team to negotiate contracts and manage renewals, ensuring favourable terms and continuity of business relationships.
  • Market and Competitor Analysis: Conduct regular market analysis to understand industry trends and the competitive landscape, using insights to inform account management strategies and identify new opportunities.


About You:

  • Experience: A minimum of 10 years in account management, sales, or a related role, with a strong focus on managing key or strategic accounts within the manufacturing sector, preferably aerospace, defence, or automotive.
  • Leadership: Demonstrated experience in successfully managing and growing key accounts, with strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Strategic Thinker: Ability to develop and implement strategic account management plans, with a focus on innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Results-Oriented: Proven success in achieving and exceeding revenue targets, with strong negotiation skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
  • Customer-Focused: Exceptional ability to build and maintain senior-level relationships with key clients, with a strong track record of delivering outstanding customer satisfaction.
