Newly created standalone HR Manager role Join a dynamic, growing and very exciting boutique finance firm based in beautiful offices in Tower Hill

This is a newly created HR Manager role responsible for developing and overseeing all HR functions within the firm, as well as ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards. The HR Manager will play a crucial role in shaping the HR strategy, managing day-to-day HR operations, overseeing compliance requirements, and ensuring the firm attracts, retains, and develops top talent while adhering to all relevant laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • HR Strategy Development: Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
  • Recruitment and Onboarding: Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, interviewing, and onboarding new hires to ensure a smooth integration into the company.
  • Employee Relations: Serve as a point of contact for employee relations issues, providing guidance and support to both employees and management on HR-related matters.
  • Performance Management: Implement and oversee performance appraisal processes, including goal setting, feedback, and professional development plans.
  • Compliance: Ensure the company’s HR policies and practices comply with legal and regulatory requirements, including laws and health and safety standards.
  • Benefits Administration: Oversee the administration of employee benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks.
  • HR Operations: Maintain employee records, manage HR budgets, and oversee payroll processing in coordination with the finance team.
  • Compliance Training: Develop and deliver training programs to ensure employees are aware of and adhere to compliance standards and company policies.
  • Culture and Engagement: Develop initiatives to enhance employee engagement, foster a positive work environment, and promote a culture of collaboration and excellence.

What we are looking for:

  • Ideally 5 years of experience in an HR role, preferably within the financial services or investment management industry.
  • Proven experience in all aspects of HR management, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and compliance.
  • Strong knowledge of HR best practices and employment laws.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels of the organisation.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and take initiative in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
