The Recruitment Co. is urgently recruiting for a Procurement Administrator to join our clients growing team working in the manufacturing industry based in the Baglan area.
Hours of work: Monday to Friday 8am - 4pm Salary: £25,000 Contract: Temp to perm. Role starts mid September
Responsibilities:Reporting into and offering daily support to the Plant Manager, the main duties will be to manage the SAP system and PO process and to carry out administration tasks for the site.
Skills Required:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and takes pride in working to a high standard in routine activities, as much as special projects.
- Understanding of SAP.
- Numeracy skills.
- Planning, prioritisation, and time management skills.
- Ability to work to deadlines by setting priorities and managing work loads.
- Excellent logistical skills - complex diary management.
- Enthusiasm, creativity, and a proactive problem-solving approach.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, dealing with people at senior levels professionally and with appropriate confidentiality.
- Practical experience of using databases & spreadsheets.
- Discretion in dealing with confidential and sensitive information.
- A confident approach, able to remain calm and handle competing demands under pressure.
