Systems Support EngineerType: PermanentWFH: OnsiteSalary: £45,000 - £55,000 (DOE)Location: StaffordshireWe’ve partnered with a global engineering & manufacturing leader who is seeking a Systems Support Engineer to ensure the smooth operation, performance, and reliability of their mission-critical engineering software suite.You’ll act as the first point of contact for global technical support across applications such as Teamcenter, NX, Altair, Doors, Zuken, Automation Studio, and visualisation tools, supporting engineering teams worldwide. In this role, you’ll work across application support, system improvements, deployment of new features, and coordination with infrastructure teams, helping deliver stable, high-performing engineering environments at scale.ResponsibilitiesProvide 2nd & 3rd line support for global engineering applicationsMonitor, analyse and report on system performance, identifying and resolving issuesConfigure, test, and deploy application upgrades and new functionalitySupport server-side engineering system processes, scheduled tasks, and monitoringCreate, manage, and test SCCM deployment packagesCollaborate with engineering leaders to gather requirements and support new system enhancementsParticipate in application testing, validation, and project sign-off activitiesSkills & Experience3+ years’ experience supporting engineering systems or technical applicationsStrong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skillsHands-on background in application and/or hardware supportExperience working with engineering software such as Teamcenter, NX, Altair, Doors, and ZukenEligible to obtain UK Security Check (SC) clearance
