A rapidly growing software house based in Burton upon Trent, Staffordshire are looking for a Software Trainer to join our software support team, improving our customer and client relations, all in a friendly, laid back environment.

**Responsibilities**:

- Providing training to new and existing clients on our software both in house and on site.
- Providing answers to client’s questions by identifying problems, researching answers and guiding the client through corrective steps
- Installing and configuring our software products
- Logging calls using our in-house systems
- Learning our latest Rental and Fleet Management system (RFM)
- Taking part in testing to give feedback to the development team based on own experience with customers.
- The ability to demonstrate excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing
- Problem solving skills
- A technical, logical thought process
- Self-motivated and willingness to learn
- Ability to prioritise tasks
- An impeccable phone manner
- A keen eye for detail
- Good understanding of the Windows operating system, and computers

This is a technical role where you will be supporting software products on customer computers and training them on its use. sometimes having to explain basic PC principles.

**Required Skills**:

- Strong technical support skills with a focus on IT and software troubleshooting
- Experience in teaching or training individuals on technical topics
- Excellent communication skills to effectively convey information to diverse audiences
- Ability to troubleshoot software issues and provide maintenance support
- Knowledge of Windows operating system and phone etiquette practices

You will be customer facing so good personal skills are required.

A background in fleet management or maintenance software would be advantageous or exposure to the commercial vehicle industry.

Location: Burton on Trent

Working hours 9am - 5pm Monday - Friday

Start Date: October 2024
