Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the day-to-day and long-term operations of our wellness gym and spa facilities, directly managing the Spa Assistant Manager and Gym Assistant Manager.
  • Foster a calm, welcoming environment for members and guests, focusing on wellness practices and exceptional customer service.
  • Drive revenue opportunities through treatments, personal training and retail sales, while identifying and exploring opportunities to expand, promote, and enhance the healthspas treatment and retail services.
  • Develop offerings and packages that align with the unique concept of an "active spa" integrating fitness and wellness into a cohesive experience.
  • Enhance marketing strategies to promote our services, attract new clients and retain existing ones.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety and COSHH regulations for both yourself and the team. Make sure that club rules are followed by members and guests, and ensure incident and accident paperwork is completed and followed up accordingly.
  • Foster innovation and contribute creative ideas to complete ongoing upgrades to the facility.
  • Proactively manage customer feedback to maintain a high level of service and client satisfaction, using feedback to refine and improve the overall offerings of the healthspa.
  • Develop and manage a detailed calendar of events and promotions throughout the year to drive engagement and growth.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences and find opportunities to further expand the healthspa services and offerings.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a spa, gym or leisure environment is preferred
  • Proven leadership and team-building skills
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • A commercial outlook, with up to date insight on industry needs and trends.
  • Flexibility to work irregular hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by business needs.
