Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced educator to join our team as a Practice-Based Educator. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering training and education to healthcare professionals, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge required to provide excellent patient care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver training programs for healthcare professionals
  • Collaborate with hospital senior management teams to coordinate and provide delivery of training and education within scope of practice
  • Champion effective education and training to increase competence of hospital staff
  • Work closely with colleagues to drive innovation and change in healthcare education

Requirements

  • Degree in Education or related field, and teaching qualification (e.g., Cert Ed, PGCE or Masters)
  • Registered General Nurse, Part 1 on NMC register or registered practitioner on the HCPC
  • Sound theoretical knowledge and understanding of healthcare education principles
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
