SALARY: £37.5k FTE
START DATE: ASAP
CONTRACT: Full Time & Permanent 
WORKING HOURS: Monday to Friday (8am – 4pm or 9am – 5pm)
SCHOOL: Working for a Multi-Academy Trust
LOCATION: Pimlico, Westminster

We are a flourishing Multi-Academy Trust, founded with the aim of improving the life chances and raising the aspirations of young people. We currently have 10 schools located across London and Hertfordshire. 

Our SCITT programme was founded 10 years ago, with the aim of recruiting and training the next generation of outstanding teachers. We offer an academically rigorous and school-led ITT Programme, balancing classroom know-how and experience with academic excellence and PGCE study. 

We are currently on the hunt for a SCITT Co-ordinator to start the role as soon as possible. The purpose of this role is to co-ordinate the administration of our highly successful SCITT programme. Alongside this, you will also be supporting with our marketing and recruitment strategies as well as general administrative day to day duties. Job Description
•    To be the first point of contact for the Teacher Training programme
•    Handling enquiry emails and telephone calls from applicants, schools & agencies
•    Providing administrative support to the SCITT department
•    Receive, track and maintain records of trainee information
•    Oversee the administration of the SCITT sessions, bookings, hospitality etc
•    Co-ordinating the statutory requirements for the SCITT Programme
•    Taking responsibility for the processes linked to recruitment, student finance, partnerships and attendance
•    Co-ordinate and plan the recruitment of all trainees
•    Working closely with the HR team to manage all processes within the recruitment process
•    Manage the application process of SCITT trainees
•    Organise internal interviews of applications
•    Managing and organising all calendar events 
•    Liaising with partnership schools and SCITT programme leads to co-ordinate SCITT placements
•    Meet reporting deadlines for trainee registration, placement, finance and school partnerships
•    Ensuring internal systems are followed to arrange payment for all  invoices, professional fees
•    Monitor the SCIT Budget
•    Respond to the enquiries related to the SCITT programme in a timely manner

Person Specification
•    Good academics across the board
•    NVQ in Business and Administration or relevant qualification is advantageous
•    Confident and proactive
•    Organised, hard working and good interpersonal skills
•    Strong literacy and numeracy skills
•    Outstanding organisation and ability to prioritise is essential
•    Methodical with a good attention to detail
•    High standards
•    Warm and a personable manner
•    Ability to be front of house 
•    An interest in education or previous experience within a school is desirable
