The Public Affairs & Policy Manager role will lead on engagement with politicians and key opinion formers across our network, particularly with MPs, MSPs and Cllrs, for TransPennine Express. With a proven passion and interest in politics, as well as experience of working with the UK and Scottish Parliaments, Combined Authorities and Local Authorities, you will be proactive in leading engagement with elected representatives and their officers. You will also have experience in monitoring policy creation of core stakeholders and in supporting the development of policy for an organisation that responds to those needs of stakeholders.

This is a key role within the Development, Stakeholders and Communities team at TransPennine Express. The role will work closely with other Public Affairs Manager at other train companies and Network Rail as well as a range of stakeholders.

You will be very comfortable engaging at any level, be passionate about delivering results, are a self starter and be driven by the shared opportunities which come from collaboration.
