We are currently looking for a Finance Business Partner


The business is looking for a Finance Business Partner to partner with key internal stakeholders in delivering financial growth and budget attainment within the business.

The role is responsible for producing analysis and providing insight to help key stakeholders around the business understand the financial impacts of commercial decisions. This will also include providing support in financial planning/forecasting.

Working in a matrix structure with our Commercial and Procurement teams, the role will supply Finance Business Partnering to two UK Directors.


The primary objectives of the role


  • To assist in understanding the profitability of our core customers and product lines and to assist in product costing and sourcing analysis.
  • The role holder will be responsible to produce the weekly trading report and analysis of performance by customer and product group. This will allow key weekly trends to be analysed with recommendations to be communicated to key stakeholders.
  • In addition, the role holder will be expected to take the lead in the Budget and
  • processes working closely with the CFO.
  • Further duties will include scenario modelling, assisting with customer presentations and supporting the central finance team with month end accounting.
  • The role holder will also be expected to take a lead in our Digital Transformation and therefore requires excellent Excel skills and be comfortable working with ERP systems and Business Intelligence.


What you can already do

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA / CIMA / ACCA)
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in similar role.
  • Higher level understanding of Excel is essential.
  • Ability to design, create and interpret complex data sources and present findings to key stakeholders is essential.
  • Analytical - the ability to analyse, interpret and present financial and business data and able to convert data into insights.
  • Organisational skills - personal efficiency, time management skills and the ability to prioritise competing demands are key.
  • Communication skills - managing diverse personalities and viewpoints.
  • Commercial acumen - to get involved in strategic decision-making within the business as an influencer.
  • Role modelling - demonstrate and lead on the values, initiatives and culture of the organisation.
