Job Description:

As an Orthopaedic Clinical Support Specialist, you will play a crucial role in supporting our orthopaedic products. You will work closely with surgeons, clinical staff, and patients to ensure the effective delivery of orthopaedic care. Your responsibilities will include providing technical support, assisting in surgical procedures, and ensuring the optimal use of orthopaedic products and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support to orthopaedic surgeons and clinical staff during surgical procedures.
  • Assist in the preparation and maintenance of orthopaedic equipment and instruments.
  • Educate and train clinical staff on the proper use of orthopaedic products and technologies.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to provide product demonstrations and support.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of orthopaedic products, techniques, and industry trends.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations.
  • Offer post-operative support and follow-up care for patients as needed.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to orthopaedic equipment.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Biomedical Engineering, Nursing, or a related healthcare discipline).
  • Proven experience in a clinical support role, preferably within the orthopaedic field.
  • Strong understanding of orthopaedic surgical procedures and equipment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Flexibility to travel within South London as required.
  • Valid driver’s license.
