Support the maintenance and upkeep of Future Youth Zone by assisting with minor repairs, cleaning, and setting up spaces for activities. Ensure the safety and security of the building by helping with opening/closing procedures, checking alarms, and securing areas as needed. Conduct and log periodic checks on facilities, such as lighting, alarms, and plumbing, to maintain a safe and operational environment. Monitor and assist contractors on maintenance tasks, ensuring all work meets agreed standards and is documented appropriately. Set up equipment and prepare rooms for events and youth activities, supporting staff as needed with these preparations. Assist in managing cleaning supplies, maintaining standards, and providing basic cleaning support when required. Act as a positive role model for youth, upholding a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment while following safeguarding and safety procedures.
