Hiring a Volunteering Trainer
Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Volunteering Trainer. This role involves caring for and training our hearing dogs to assist deaf individuals, providing companionship and alerting them to important sounds.
About the RoleThis is an excellent opportunity for those who want to make a difference in people's lives. As a Volunteering Trainer, you will be responsible for:
- Caring for one of our adorable puppies or young dogs in your own home for 6-18 months at a time.
- Learning more about dog training and attending fun puppy classes.
- Providing direct support to deaf individuals, helping them reconnect with life.
You will be provided with all necessary equipment, food, and medical expenses, as well as access to our weekday daytime classes.
RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you must have:
- Adequate time to dedicate to training a young dog on a daily basis.
- Access to a vehicle for training and emergency purposes.
- A computer and video calling facilities for communication.
The estimated salary for this role is £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
