The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the nursery manager and ensuring the highest quality of care and education for our young learners.Key Responsibilities- Support the Nursery Manager in daily operations and strategic planning- Ensure compliance with Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework- Supervise and mentor nursery staff, providing guidance and professional development- Assist in creating and implementing engaging learning environments- Maintain accurate and comprehensive child development records- Support safeguarding procedures and child protection protocols- Help manage nursery resources and budget- Deputise for the Nursery Manager in their absenceEssential Requirements- Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification or equivalent- Minimum of 2 years' experience working in a nursery or early years setting- Strong understanding of the EYFS framework- Excellent communication skills with children, parents, and staff- Current Paediatric First Aid certification- Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check- Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing environmentsDesirable Qualifications- Level 4 or 5 Management qualification in Early Years- Additional specialised training in child development- Experience in a leadership or deputy management roleWhat We Offer- Competitive salary commensurate with experience-Professional development opportunities- Supportive and collaborative work environment- Opportunity to make a significant impact on children's early learningPlease apply now, to find out the next steps
