Deputy Clinical Team Lead

To Act as deputy to the clinical team lead in their absence.
Ensure the delivery of high quality care in the ward
Teaching, guiding and supporting colleagues and providing site cover.
Participate in the delivery of high standards of care and support Colleagues in care provision.
Participate in clinical supervision and demonstrate evidence of reflective practice.
Provide leadership and supervision to junior staff and the multi-disciplinary team within the department/hospital and give appropriate advice as and when required.
Participate in, staff recruitment and selection and staff appraisal
Utilise resources such as beds, staff and equipment effectively.
Act as shift co-ordinator ensuring safe and smooth running of the ward.
To ensure safe staffing numbers adjusting and authorising staff on the rota.
Notify duty manager immediately if any serious incident occurs.
To be involved in the investigation of disciplinary issues and complaints.
- When covering site rota to be in overall charge of the hospital.

We constantly strive to ensure we support as many people as possible, we feel we make a difference whenever and wherever they may need us which may be for rehabilitation, palliative care planning and end of life care.
Patient-centred care is provided in our community hospitals that enables individuals to increase their independence, improves health outcomes and reduces unnecessary admissions to acute care or long term care by designing programmes for recovery and rehabilitation. This is achieved through timely interventions, rehabilitation, management of long term and limiting conditions and partnership working across the health and social care community. All staff within the service work in collaboration with the patient, their carer and other statutory and voluntary organisations and agencies. The Practice-led wards also provide end of life and palliative care in designated palliative care beds.
The service will be actively involved in the prevention of inappropriate medical admissions by ensuring a high quality of assessment and support services are available to support patients in the most appropriate environment. Continuous liaison with other agencies/stakeholders will ensure that the continuity of care delivery for the population of Lincolnshire remains at a high level.
The aim of the service is to provide a seamless ‘one stop shop’ for the delivery of Unscheduled Care on site.
