Key Responsibilities:
- Purchase Ledger Management: Handle financial, clerical, and administrative tasks to ensure smooth ledger operations.
- Timely Payments: Ensure all payments align with company deadlines and payment terms.
- Invoice Processing: Manage supplier invoices and respond to supplier inquiries promptly.
- Credit Card Processing: Handle company credit card transactions with precision.
- Collaboration: Work closely with managers to ensure invoices are processed on time.
- Reconciliations: Perform statement reconciliations and assist with Sales Ledger Accounts.
- Bank Accounts: Gain a full understanding of company bank accounts, with occasional bank reconciliation duties.
- Teamwork: Demonstrate strong organizational skills, working independently or as part of a team to meet strict deadlines.
What We're Looking For:
- Sage 50 Experience: Proficiency in Sage 50 is essential.
- Accounting Background: Previous experience in a similar accounting role.
- Bookkeeping Knowledge: Solid understanding of double-entry bookkeeping.
- IT Skills: Strong IT literacy, especially with Excel and other accounting software.
- Attention to Detail: Accuracy and responsibility are key in this role.
- Self-Motivation: Ability to work independently without close supervision.
- Communication: Clear and effective communication skills for interacting with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
