We are seeking a Service Coordinator to support our service manager in the after-sales and service function. This role is crucial for maintaining customer satisfaction by efficiently handling requests, scheduling work within the Service department, and coordinating with the Sales and Parts departments as necessary.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Liaise with customers to schedule service work, keeping them informed of changes and status.
  • Provide first-line support in response to customer enquiries.
  • Process sales orders from creation to invoice.
  • Manage technicians’ diaries and schedule service jobs.
  • Update the daily service log.
  • Inform technicians of upcoming service jobs.
  • Close out service works by processing job cards.
  • Support technicians with parts control and stock management.
  • Plan parts to ensure timely issuance/supply to technicians from stores in line with company processes.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Experience in a technical service business.
  • High level of interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and negotiate.
  • Positive attitude with a ‘can do’ approach.
  • Excellent customer service skills, both face-to-face and on the phone.
  • Good attention to detail and time management skills.
  • Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure.
  • Computer literacy.
  • Valid driving licence.
Safety Responsibilities:
  • Implement and be responsible for the company’s safety policies and procedures.
  • Report any accidents/incidents to the Managing Director and follow the Incident/Accident procedure.
  • Manage and schedule inspections, routine checks, and maintenance of all plant and vehicles.
  • Promote and comply with the company Health & Safety policy and all relevant legislation.
  • Ensure all technicians have the correct drivers’ licences and up-to-date qualifications.
