One of the fastest growing brands in the UK is now embarking on an expansion to really leave its mark on the global hair industry.


Slick Gorilla is the UK’s biggest mens hair care brand, was founded in the North of the UK by two brothers with a passion for hair, style and creativity. The brand has a huge global appeal and is stocked in barbershops in addition to key retail destinations around the world.


The time has come to add a Performance Marketing individual to lead paid media & advertising to our multi talented team on a full time basis.


Kindly note this role is not open to freelancers or those without 3+ years valid experience and we do not require assistance from recruitment agencies.


The role is focused around but not limited to;


Key responsibilities

Managing and delivering on paid media marketing activity with a key focus on paid search & paid social.

Delivering & implementing the paid media marketing strategy to acquire new customers and maximise performance of an existing customer base.

Strategy planning and implementation across paid channels with a key focus on Google, Meta and Tiktok, identifying potential opportunities for improvement.

Discover & explore new channels, platforms and opportunities of paid media which will support brand growth.

Analysing Google Analytics and other performance data to produce marketing strategy and performance reports.

Drive innovation and explore new paid media opportunities.

Collaborate with E-commerce Manager and stakeholders to create a successful digital environment.


About You

3+ years experience with Google Ads (Search/Display) and Meta Ad Campaigns.

2+ years experience working with businesses grossing digital revenue of over £1m.

A portfolio of previous paid media related results.

Experience with conversion rate optimisation and A/B testing.

Experience in Meta demographics, interests and behaviour targeting.

Ability to be react, monitor performance and insert change both planned and ad hoc.

Experience with FMCG would be beneficial.
