Mission
To create & curate content that showcases, spotlights, and shares the most innovative, impactful experiences globally
To select & promote content supports the mission of the WXO - to fill people’s lives with better experiences - and empowers our members to become better, more successful experience professionals creating better experiences - that is, experiences make people feel more alive, that make more money, and that are good for people and planet
Objectives
- Discover what’s new and next in experiences, and bring exciting, counterintuitive, intriguing ideas that showcase the most innovative experiences and help our members become better experience designers
- Write key content inc Campfire write ups, Extraordinary Experiences, Newsletters - on the website + social channels
- Market our content and events (often working our growth marketer)
- Where necessary, manage & attend those events
- Expand our range of content, produce more, better content - harnessing the potential of UGC & AI
- UGC should especially come from within the WXO network (the WXO community includes some of the smartest, most creative, & forward thinking experience people on the planet - we should enable them to share their ideas more widely)
- Inc figure out how to ‘market’ this effectively, to give the authors the relevant stage / status that makes them want to publish on the WXO site
- To lead our weekly Campfires
- Measure, monitor and actively seek to improve - via experiments & milestones - how many engage with / read / watch / re-share our content
- Formulate a content strategy & a long-term editorial calendar
- Manage & run the World Experience Summits each year
- Curate the content for the Summits
- Manage the speakers, the contracts, the videographer, reporting etc
- Produce content before, during and after the Summit

- Be able to use a Wordpress site (esp with Elementor)

- Focus on high-impact content
- Strong interpersonal skills to manage relationships with writers, designers, and cross-functional teams. Able to delegate and give constructive feedback while fostering a positive working environment.
- Project management
- Ability to manage multiple projects at once, ensuring deadlines are met without sacrificing content quality.
- Examples: Proven experience in managing editorial calendars, balancing multiple content pipelines, and meeting deadlines
- Adaptable & innovative
- Open to new trends and technologies in publishing and content creation, willing to adapt processes to improve efficiency and audience engagement
- Culturally sensitive
- Ability to edit and produce content that is globally relevant and culturally appropriate, particularly in cross-cultural or international contexts.
