We are looking for a Head of Post Production to join our growing creative production agency in Central London.


RD Content (www.rdcontent.com) is a unique creative agency where filmmaking is at the heart of what we do. We work with the world’s biggest brands producing content all over the globe, with offices in London, New York, Abu Dhabi and Singapore. We also own one of the largest film studios in London (www.rdstudios.uk)


As Head of Post, you will oversee a permanent team of 30 full-time staff made up of editors, animators, VFX, colour and sound. You will co-ordinate alongside other department heads a hiring strategy for both permanent employees and contractors globally.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Collaborate closely with our in-house Producers and Film Directors to understand project visions and develop post-production plans that align with creative goals and technical requirements.
  • Oversee and enhance the post-production workflow, including editing, animation, sound design, and colour, ensuring projects are delivered on time and to the highest quality standards.
  • Develop and implement standards and protocols for post-production processes to maintain high-quality creative outputs.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the post-production team, promoting a culture of excellence, continuous improvement, and innovation.
  • Stay abreast of the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in post-production to drive creativity and technical advancement within the department.
  • Ensuring resources are allocated efficiently to support project and department goals.


Experience and Qualifications


  • This is a full time role in office, so a person who is happy to commute daily to Holborn or our film studios in West London is a necessity
  • a passion for storytelling
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in editing and/or animation, with a proven track record of success in leading post-production efforts on high-profile projects.
  • High energy, ambitious and extremely motivated to be the best at what you do, and constantly eager to learn.
  • Extensive knowledge of post-production workflows, techniques, and the latest software/tools in the industry.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience in managing and developing creative teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with directors, team members, and external partners.
  • Demonstrated ability to think creatively and technically, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering exceptional quality.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Film Production, Animation, or a related field.
  • Willingness to interact with clients and lead client meetings.


Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Please note the role is 5 days a week office based in Holborn, London.
