Responsibilities
You will develop and execute advantaged long-term sourcing strategy / playbooks to deliver sustainable improvements in terms of cost, quality, service and innovation, in collaboration with the Head of Category and other relevant business stakeholders.This position will have direct line management responsibility for one other member of the team.
You will understand key cost drivers, industry trends and standard methodologies to design/implement effective sourcing strategies.
Develop and maintain long term pricing mechanisms and long relationship strategies for fish species to drive sustainable competitive advantage.
You will be responsible of securing the directs supply, assuring high quality standards, on-time deliveries, bench costs and ensure food safety regulations & CSR requirements.
About you
Our ideal candidate will have experience working in an FMCG / food manufacturing procurement environment, a good understanding of purchasing contracts, cost modelling, developing sourcing strategies, excellent relationship building & negotiation skills.
Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (CIPS) or similar qualification or would be highly advantageous.
