Senior Buyer - Ingredients/Raw Materials

Job Summary:

We are seeking an ambitious Senior Buyer to join our global FMCG leader on a fixed-term basis. As a key member of our top-tier procurement function, you will work with a dynamic team to drive value, cost savings, and process improvements through strategic procurement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee direct raw materials/ingredients procurement, aligning with business goals and optimizing supply chains.
  • Develop and implement strategic sourcing initiatives to drive cost savings and process improvements.
  • Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions to procurement challenges.
  • Analyze data to inform procurement decisions and drive business growth.

Requirements:

  • Proven strategic sourcing expertise with experience in driving value and cost savings.
  • Strong background in direct spend management in FMCG, ideally with £100M+ spend.
  • Ambitious and growth-oriented, with a desire to advance in a dynamic team environment.
  • Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and deliver innovative solutions.

What We Offer:

Hybrid working arrangement, with 3 days per week office-based. Salary up to £80,000 per annum, plus car allowance, bonus, healthcare, pension, and holiday.
