The Americas Upstream and Consumables Leader for Cytiva is responsible leading sales specialists, field application specialists and driving orders and sales growth.

This position is part of the Americas Bioprocess Operating Company located in Americas and will be fully remote.   At Cytiva, our vision is, to advance future therapeutics from discovery to delivery.

What you will do:

    • Provide sales leadership and direction to a team of Upstream zone leaders, Sales Specialists and Field Application Specialists as modality leader
    • Drive growth and collaboration across all BTG operating companies including BP, Genomics Medicine, Discovery and Medical and Biotech Integrated Solutions
    • Meet and exceed orders and sales budgets as commercial leader for the modality. Work closely with product management and Upstream business unit leadership in deploying strategic plan for new products and growth initiatives

Who you are:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Science or Technology, MBA a plus
    • 10+ years experience preferably in the Biotechnology/Biopharma industry
    • Experience managing large complex equipment projects associated with customer expansions and investments in addition to driving for all associated consumables and cross selling opportunities available
    • Consultative selling experience such as Miller Heiman, SPIN or similar as applied to process development pipelines and manufacturing with a focus on upstream
    • Team builder with previous leadership experience and the ability to drive collaboration through a complex matrix organization for customers
    • Working knowledge of lean principles as applied to problem solving and growth
    • Outstanding communication and presentation skills

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

    • Working knowledge of SFDC
    • Danaher Business Systems
    • SU Bioreactors, mixers, filtration and all technologies as applied to upstream/downstream processes in pharmaceutical manufacturing
