Job Purpose and Summary

Canon EMEA is seeking a highly skilled Senior Salesforce Business IT Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for designing, building, and deploying solutions to support existing and new features on the Salesforce platform.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement Salesforce solutions to meet business requirements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build integration with Salesforce and connected business systems
  • Execute solution quality reviews of peers and external contractors
  • Provide technical consultation and support to internal stakeholders
  • Develop and maintain custom components, technical documentation, and knowledge base
  • Share knowledge and solutions with technical and non-technical audiences

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • At least 7 years of experience in Salesforce development and implementation
  • Expertise in Salesforce platform technology stacks, including Apex triggers, Batch Apex, Lightning Web Components, and configuration items like Flow
  • Strong understanding of Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid Agile project methodologies
  • Experience with managing multiple teams as a Technical Lead
  • Experience with defining environment and branching strategy, setting up CICD pipeline using SFDX CLI
  • Experience with developing and defining integration strategy using SOAP and REST API
  • Experience with handling large data volumes and defining data migration strategies
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Salesforce Certified System Architect
  • Platform Developer II Certified
  • Revenue Cloud Specialist
