We are seeking an experienced Organisational Design Consultant to support a central Government client in enhancing its organisational structure and effectiveness.


The role requires a flexible approach to organisational design, addressing both immediate structural needs and more complex strategic challenges. The consultant will work closely with senior stakeholders to guide and implement organisational improvements.


Responsibilities:

  • Assess and diagnose organisational structure issues, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Design and implement effective organisational structures that align with strategic goals.
  • Facilitate workshops and discussions to develop and refine organisational design options.
  • Collaborate with senior stakeholders, providing coaching and partnership to drive change.
  • Monitor and evaluate the impact of organisational design initiatives.


Skills and Experience Required:

  • Extensive experience in Organisational Design, with a focus on public sector environments.
  • Proficiency in applying methodologies such as McKinsey 7S, Galbraith’s STAR Model, and Kotter’s Change Management.
  • Strong facilitation skills, with experience leading workshops and stakeholder engagements.
  • Proven ability to partner with senior leaders and influence decision-making.
  • Analytical mindset with experience in developing and assessing organisational design options.
  • Pro-active approach and able to work autonomously
  • Experience delivering organisational design in central Government
