Organisation & Workforce Design Consultant

At NatWest, we're seeking an experienced Organisation & Workforce Design Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our People Domain, you'll play a crucial role in shaping our organisation and workforce design strategy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide subject matter expertise on organisation and workforce design, collaborating with cross-functional teams to influence key business stakeholders.
  • Consult with business leaders and our Goal and Shared Capability Teams on the design, implementation, and maintenance of our organisation and workforce.
  • Lead, support, and implement business-specific workforce design projects, involving organisation, team, job, skills, and future workforce design.
  • Ensure strategic design principles are delivered and contribute to the ongoing development and continuous improvement of workforce design methodology and internal capability.
  • Leverage specialist knowledge from within the team to support key stakeholders and design, create, or deliver the 'one bank' skills enablement strategy, framework, and guidance principles.
  • Partner with experts across the People Domain and other stakeholders to shape and steer experimentation in future workforce design.
  • Contribute to our Senior Grade Calibration Panel and provide cover for job architecture projects and job framework change process.
Requirements:
  • Experience using project and agile management tools and methodologies.
  • Strong knowledge and experience of organisation design principles, methods, and practices.
  • Knowledge and experience of organisation and job design, job architecture, and skills framework principles and practices.
  • Knowledge of relevant legal policies, regulations, and risk management.
  • Experience of the banking industry and regulatory and commercial environments.
