Prospero Teaching are looking for passionate and ambitious Psychology Graduates with a passion for supporting students with SEMH needs in a specialist SEMH school in Trafford. The students will be aged 7 - 18 and it is essential that you have experience supporting children or young people with SEMH needs.

Position Details:

Location Trafford Position Graduate Teaching AssistantType of work General Teaching Assistant work with small groups of Children with SEMH needsposition start date September 2024Duration TemporaryFull timeMinimum rate - GBP100 per dayHours 8:30 am 4:30 pm : Mon Fri

Responsibilities:

Working with and providing support to children with SEN (Special Educational Needs)Experience of supporting pupils with SEMH or ASD needsThe willingness to provide an environment in which pupils can reach their full potentialThe ability to build rapports with the children, supporting their social and behavioural needs, and acting as a mentor

Role Requirements:

Psychology (BA Hons) degreeEnhanced DBS (clean and relevant) Can be obtained through Prospero TeachingSafeguarding certificate, prevent awareness, FGM - essentialBehaviour management training - desirableA committed and enthusiastic attitude to workExcellent communication skills and the ability to form new relationships
