Credit Controller - Part Time25K to 30K (pro-rata)30 hours- office basedWe are recruiting for a credit controller to work with a business service business based in Nantwich, this is a new role to support the finance team reporting to the Finance Manager.

Main Duties

  • Proactively managing the credit control across the firm and ensuring maximum cash collection on a daily basis.
  • Issuing statements to clients and following up with reminders and phone calls in line with credit control policy.
  • Taking card payments from clients and dealing with postings
  • Resolving queries and disputes related to invoices, payments, and credit terms.
  • Negotiating payment plans and payment methods with clients as necessary.
  • Reporting on the status and performance of the accounts receivable ledger to the Finance Partner.
  • Reviewing and updating the credit policies and procedures of the company.
  • Maintaining good relationships and communication with clients and internal stakeholders.

Requirements

  • At least 12 months of dedicated credit control experience.
  • Proficiency in accounting software, spreadsheets, and databases.
  • Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
  • Strong and confident communication and negotiation skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of credit laws and regulations.
  • Customer service and problem-solving skills.

Benefits

  • 25k to 30k (pro rata)
  • 30 Hours
  • 28 days of holiday (pro rata and includes bank holidays). Additionally, the business closes between Christmas and New Year. You will also get an extra day's holiday for your birthday
